LVHS Shelter Tails
2023 was a difficult year for the LVHS, animal welfare and our community. We dedicated much of the year to finding homes for the extra 853 animals who came through our doors and to continuing to be the biggest advocate for our underserved communities. We saw the increase of housing struggles, veterinary care prices skyrocketing at for profit vets, and an increase of stray and abandoned animals. Throughout it all, we had you. Each of you have impacted the lives of countless animals and have made the impossible, possible. Because you are so close to us, we'd like to share some of the work that you made a reality.
